What to expect

Our selection process is a two-way assessment of suitability. We will create an environment for you to be at your best, to showcase your leadership and problem solving potential as well as creative imagination, your “why” behind applying for MBB and your vision for the global future. You will be asked to assess why the Ascent Program is appropriate for you at this currentstage of your MBB preparation and career journey.

As part of the process, we also want you to come prepared with topics you’ve always been curious to explore beyond practical MBB application questions. Nothing is off limits –we’ve been asked about the role of creativity or kindness in leadership, the fundamental role of consulting in an emerging AI world, or even the role of influencers in shaping macro andmicro-economic trends.

Introductory one-on-one

We'll get to understand your deeper motivation, your current capabilities, and how the MBB Ascent Program can best be structured to serve your specific goals and timeline.

Vision alignment assessment

We'll get to know your partnership and learning style through a short diagnostic, ensuring there is genuine alignment before we begin — because the best outcomes come from the right fit.

At the end of this process, we will extend an invitation to candidates where there is a strong alignment between:

1. A candidate’s current level of MBB preparation, deeper motivation for joining MBB and vision for the global future; and,
